“The Urban Zen” at Agrawal Palazzo, Borivali, is a stunning 3BHK, 1,200-square-foot interior design project that showcases the creative expertise of Maitri Doshi, Founder & Principal Designer of Msttudio. The project began with a vision of a minimalist palette, centered on shades of grey and culminating in the use of black. As a result, the furniture throughout the living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom areas was designed in white, accented with subtle hues of blue and green.
The entire floor of this residence is adorned with Symphony Grey marble, which exudes timeless elegance and serves as the foundation for the design’s calming atmosphere. This creates a sense of continuity while allowing each room to maintain its unique identity through distinct colour palettes and custom storage solutions tailored to the family’s needs.
The design embodies a minimalist approach that is pure and wholesome. Clean lines, ribbed panels, and a soft monochrome palette define the space, while plush sofas, armchairs, and luxurious throw pillows in pastel accents invite relaxation. Black fittings provide a striking contrast, enhancing the urban zen aesthetic.
Large French windows further elevate the design by allowing natural light to flood the interior, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the surrounding landscape. This interaction of natural light with the marble flooring enhances the sense of spaciousness and integrates the outdoor environment into the home.
