Vista by Mercury Architects is an elegant 1600 sq. ft. office space located in CBD Belapur, envisioned to elevate everyday work life through minimalist sophistication and clever spatial organisation. Completed in just six months, this modern commercial interior project merges soft-toned surfaces, sleek modernity, and warm textures. Thoughtful zoning ensures that each corner, from collaborative areas to focused workspaces, feels intuitive and purposeful. The overall design language is defined by clean lines, muted palettes, and a balance between openness and privacy, creating a seamless and engaging professional environment.
The Principal Architect, Ar. Santosh Satpathy shares that Vista was conceptualised as a space that encourages productivity through calmness. Every detail—from the curved walls at the entrance to the symmetry in the workstations—was meticulously crafted to harmonise visual order with functional ease. The project embodies a light-hearted seriousness, where design does not overwhelm but gently guides the user experience. Materiality, lighting, and layout were carefully selected to express clarity, professionalism, and comfort for everyone working in the space.
Inviting Entrance
The entrance instantly draws attention with its textured wall panels, artistic pendant lighting, and soft curved theme detail that softens the geometry. The modern reception desk showcases a striking grey marble texture, adding a touch of elegance and timeless sophistication to the space. The side counter doubles as a visual anchor, using subtle tones and grooves that quietly communicate style. Paired lounge chairs introduce a hint of hospitality, making the arrival experience welcoming yet understated. Just beyond, a small open pantry is planned cleverly—neither intrusive nor hidden—offering ease of access without disturbing the design flow and keeping everyday conveniences within seamless reach.
Quiet Drive Workspace
Right after the reception, the workstation area blends seamlessly into the space, promoting collaboration through aligned desks and thoughtful niches. Integrated storage and ergonomic seating enhance the flow, prioritising both practicality and comfort. The design focuses on unity, creating an environment where individuality takes a backseat to collective productivity. This fusion of aesthetics and function ensures that long working hours are more efficient, encouraging both creativity and teamwork. It’s a space where connection is effortless and productivity is at its peak.
Focused Flow Workstation
The workstations reflect the personality of the workspace—efficient, clean, and harmonious. Extended desk surfaces and ergonomic seating cater to dynamic workdays, while white and soft blue tones cultivate clarity and calm. Overhead shelves and integrated cabinetry offer practical storage without disrupting the visual flow. Lighting has been thoughtfully integrated to eliminate glare, casting a gentle, consistent glow that illuminates the space evenly, enhancing focus and reducing strain.
Collaborative Core – Meeting Room
The meeting room captures a perfect mix of professionalism and subtle flair. A clean-lined rectangular table is paired with smart black-and-grey chairs, keeping things crisp and neutral. The modern eye-pleasing lighting fixture, with its looped straps and orb bulbs, adds a unique design twist while keeping the space professional. The mounted screen is aligned for presentations, making the room adaptable for formal discussions or casual brainstorming sessions alike.
Effort Echo – office area
The open office area introduces transparency and light through its glass enclosure. This semi-formal zone is ideal for quick conversations and shared decision-making. Its white desk surface, bold lighting, and sleek black chairs reflect authority without being overpowering. The interplay of materials—glass, wood, and leather accents—offers both openness and acoustical privacy, ensuring it suits the needs of both teams and executives.
Elegant Cabins
The two cabins echo the same refined design language, unified by a muted palette and a minimalist, well-balanced layout. Each features a thoughtfully composed desk and seating arrangement that prioritises comfort without visual clutter. While both cabins share identical spatial planning and finishes, their individuality emerges through distinct wall-mounted lighting fixtures—subtle sculptural elements that elevate the calm ambience. Reflective partitions enhance the sense of openness while preserving privacy, making each cabin feel both secure and expansive.
Elevated Essentials
An Office washroom should prioritise functionality, cleanliness, and comfort. A well-designed space incorporates modern sanitary fixtures, ample lighting, and durable materials to ensure hygiene and ease of use. Thoughtful additions—like a curved L-shape mirror, accent walls, and subtle fragrances—elevate the ambience, making the environment more inviting for both employees and visitors. Efficient layouts, proper ventilation, and accessibility features further enhance usability.
